Interior of mosque between Istanbul and Sofia

We passed so many mosques that we decided to stop and look inside. This one was extremely grand with a style of architecture reminiscent of the Byzantine era.

(I am not certain if this mosque was in Turkey or Bulgaria. As both counties have large Moslem communities, it could be in either.)
