Passing through the Balkan Mountains in former Yugoslavia (now Serbia) on our way to Belgrade (Beograd).

The Balkan mountain range is an extension of the Carpathian mountain range, separated by the Danube River. The Balkan Mountains extend from eastern Serbia through central Bulgaria to the Black Sea.
