Road to Erzurum from the Iran-Turkey border

Road to Erzurum We had crossed the border into Turkey without too much delay, and were now heading for Erzurum where we planned to stop for the night.

The roads were no better on the Turkish side of the border. More tar, but as dusk was falling at least it wasn't liquid.
