Kurdish nomads in eastern Turkey

Kurdish Nomads Nomads seen from the road between the Iran-Turkey border and Erzurum. These nomads were almost certainly Kurds.

We passed several groups of nomads, and were never sure how we would be received. Fifty percent of the time the children would laugh and wave, but just as often they threw stones at the car.
