Bagh-e Melli (Shah Goli) Park The day we spent sightseeing in Tabriz was a Friday and therefore the Moslem "weekend".

Bagh-e Melli means National Garden. The one in Tabriz, or Shah Goli Park as it was then known, was a populular place for picnics.
