Peter Clarkson loooking down into Glen Brittle. The Glen Brittle campsite can be seen near the coast.

The campsite becomes very crowded during Bank holiday weekends. We had spent the Saturday and Sunday camped at Loch Slapin instead where we climbed on Blavin, only moving to Glen Brittle when the weekend crowd had left. This was not so much to avoid the crowds at the campsite, as to avoid the crowds on the climbs. Who wants to queue up to do a route?
