La Tresenta and Ciarforon This photograph was shot from near the summit of Gran Paradiso looking South.

The peak on the left is La Tresenta (3609 m), so-called because it is shaped like a three-sided pyramid. The one on the right with the distinctive snow dome is Ciarforon (3642 m).
