Lauson Valley

Lauson Valley This is the view down into Lauson Valley from the route we were following up to Colle Lauson. The route is only a walk, not a real climb or even a scramble. Originally it was a mule track, but it got quite steep towards the pass and involved negotiating areas of loose rocks and scree.

The ascent from the Rifugio Vittorio Sella is about 700 metre and the climb takes about 2.5 hours.
