Lily pads at Purple Bamboo Park Like many lakes in China the one at Purple Bamboo Park (Zhuzhi Yuan) is notable for its lily pads.

Purple Bamboo Park is in West Beijing within easy cycling or walking distance of the Friendship Hotel or Renmin University. The park is tranquil and secluded and off the tourist track.
