The rooms on the first floor were mainly single bedrooms used as part of the guesthouse facility, and there was a small restaurant ("mess") which was on the ground floor in the left side of the picture. The two sides of the square out of sight in the photo comprised offices, storerooms, and Landrover repair facilities.
