Wild camel near Dera

A wild camel near the outskirts of Dera Wild camels and donkeys were commonplace around Dubai, somehow eeking out an existance from the few tough clumps of grass that were to be found in the desert.

The camel was grazing on the edge of Dera, the buildings being typical 'barrusti' huts. (See barrusti huts page.)
